What becomes possible when we say yes to healing?

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who feel a sincere pull toward this work—people navigating their healing in some form. This could look like grief, anxiety, burnout, depression, life transition, or a deeper longing for connection and clarity. Individuals, couples, or families who feel emotionally ready to share their process. People open to being witnessed in vulnerable, honest ways — before, during, and after a plant medicine ceremony. Those navigating personal healing with a sense of sincerity, curiosity, or urgency.

You may have never tried psychedelics before, or you may have had limited experience but are now seeking something deeper.

We’re especially interested in:

  • First-time psychedelic users

  • People who’ve only used psychedelics recreationally, and are now interested in exploring their potential for healing in an intentional setting

  • People who’ve worked with psychedelics intentionally before and may have benefited—but are currently facing something new or unresolved and feel called to explore deeper healing

  • Individuals, romantic couples, and parent/child pairs

So many of us are carrying something heavy.

We are living in an unprecedented mental health crisis - and what we’re doing about it doesn’t seem to be working.

This film is a response to that reality. A way to hold space for real people and real healing - not in a clinical setting, but in ceremony, in relationship, and in reverence. By sharing your story, you help others see what’s possible when we stop trying to fix - and begin to feel.

If you are called to this experience, we would love to hear from you (scroll down to apply).

Eligibility Criteria

To participate, you must:

  • Be 18 or older

  • Be based in the United States

  • Be fluent in English

To ensure safety and care, the following exclusion criteria also apply:

  • Not currently taking certain medications: This includes SSRIs, SNRIs, antipsychotics, or other medications known to interact with psychedelics

  • Psychological Health:

    • A personal history of serious psychiatric diagnoses—such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar I disorder—will disqualify participation

    • Anyone currently experiencing active suicidal thoughts, untreated psychosis, or severe dissociation is also not eligible at this time

All participants will go through a brief, compassionate screening process to ensure safety, fit, and readiness.

What Participation Involves

  • Join us for a filmed plant medicine ceremony, with the shoot taking place July 23–29, 2025 (location is in US and will be disclosed in application process)

  • Be filmed before, during, and after the ceremony, including interviews and observational footage

  • Self-record short video diaries (vlog-style) in the lead-up (before) and integration phase (after)

  • Participate in follow-up filming 3–6 months later

  • Join occasional Zoom check-in calls before and after the ceremony, which will also be filmed

All travel, accommodations, meals, and ceremony costs will be fully covered.

Why Participate?

  • Participate in a plant medicine ceremony in a safe, trauma-informed container led by a professional facilitator

    • Ceremony, in this context, is a sacred, intentional gathering where participants work with the sacrament of plant medicine. Rooted in ancient tradition, it invites deep introspection, emotional clarity, and connection—to self, to others, and to something greater. Compared to most clinical settings, this ceremonial space is more immersive, prayerful, and inherently connected to the Earth.

  • Help others by offering an honest portrayal of healing—not just the breakthroughs, but the questions, the courage, and the slow unfolding

  • Be part of a film that holds space for emotional truth, spiritual integrity, and collective transformation

  • Help others see what’s possible when we stop trying to fix—and start learning to feel
